Having run a business unit on behalf of a PLC, he has gained a lot of business knowledge and understanding of the corporate world. He has a keen understanding that the most important aspect of any organisation is ‘the customer’ and however large or small and organisation is you need to offer a product and service that is exceptional and beyond the clients expectations.
John is married to Louise and has a daughter and son who all live in Wolverhampton. Originally from Bridgnorth, he moved away at 21 to London where he lived for four years, where among other jobs was an assistant Manager in a West End Wine bar in the 80s.
‘I strongly believe that to get the best out of any experience, you need to totally submerge yourself in it; which over the past 4 years I have done with Cycling. I also believe that the best way to start anything is by just doing it and seizing the opportunity. I love every aspect of cycling including the freedom, friends, health, pleasure, challenges, gadgets, tears, pain, exhilaration, focus but most of all the fun.
