News - Hot off the press ... Mamil Cycling Ltd is proud to announce that Schwalbe tyres will be providing sponorship & support for the 2011 Shropshire Hills Sportive.

So I've been neglecting things lately, well truth is I have been fairly busy with the sportive admin I haven't had much blog time, which is a shame really as I enjoy putting my less than normal slant on day to day life. So as you may already know I entered this years Dragon Ride with my son Ashley and Dave P (resident MC Ltd & local cycle sport snapper, cycle buddy & school friend). We booked a  caravan at Parkdeans Trecco Bay site from Friday thro til Monday. We drove down Friday late morning and the weather was roasting - ideal to arrive at a beach location with nice weather. So after the drive, unpacking, larking around on the beach & eating fish & chips what else do you do ? You get the road bikes out and have a druken race around the caravan park & seafront with no lights etc I jest you not ...

It was a lovely warm evening (well it was approx 11pm), the course wasn't lit, there were speed humps, decorative rocks & I had sandals on (>_<)

It'll all end in tears you know, but only one shot at this life after all eh :)
